iphone5-j-3You went to a restaurant and would like to order your favorite food; a mouth-watering quarter-pounder burger, complete with onions, tomato, lettuce and double cheese, with twisted fries, bacon and eggs on the side, and a refillable drink. Now here’s the thing: currently, they do not have bacon and eggs, but the catch is… you’ll pay for the same price!
Without a doubt, you will definitely leave the place and look for a better one that has the complete package you are looking for, right? I will definitely do the same thing too. People tend to appreciate only those things that can and is willing to accommodate their needs. You are ready to pay for it so why not get the equivalent amount of service and product you paid for.
With Apple’s iPhone devices, you paid for a device that allows you choose from AppStore with any features and apps that you want installed on your device, well, as long as it’s there. But what if it’s not available on the list? Well, unfortunately, what you see is what you get. And that’s the bottom line. Unless they release it on AppStore, then you are free to wait. But you don’t have to. And that’s how unlocking was born.
Unlocking is the process of acquiring the freedom from Apple in installing any apps and features that you would like to have on your phone. It simply means you’ll be able to download extensions, applications, themes, and other stuff that are currently available in the AppStore and elsewhere. It’s just that easy to understand the process. Don’t be too technical in understanding iphone unlock, anyways; all you want to do is to install your favorite apps.
UNlocking doesn’t mean you can automatically transfer to another service provider. Although unlock is part of the said process, it is only an initial step towards achieving that objective; the process of using a non-specified SIM card on your iPhone to be able to access service from another telecoms provider is called Unlocking. It is almost the same as Flashing except that the unlocking is a term used for GSM phones (iPhones uses GSM technology) while flashing is for phones with CDMA technology; phones which does not use SIM card.
So now that it’s becoming clearer, would you still want to unlock your iPhone to have the apps you’ve been longing for? Some people are worried that by unlocking their iPhones, their devices might be ruined. You can always reverse the process and have your iphone back to its original settings.
Un-unlock is the process of reversing what has been unlocked, well, not really reversing it but doing a factory default on your iPhone. Simply connect your iPhone to a computer then go to iTunes, select your iPhone model, click on Restore then wait until your phone restarts – and you’re back.
Now that you have a glimpse of what you can do with your iPhone, it’s now up to you to decide whether to stick with AppStore and wait for the apps of your dreams or explore other options and get to download the apps or play the game after few minutes.
